The automatic palette groups visually similar pixels and surfaces up to eight dominant colors. Select any swatch to load it into the copy-ready color fields.

Know before you start

Important limitations

  • A sampled pixel may differ from a printed result because printers, profiles, paper, and displays reproduce color differently.
  • JPEG compression can introduce small color changes around edges and fine details.
  • The picker identifies pixels; it does not certify brand colors or perform perceptual palette analysis.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Pixel sampling and palette extraction run locally in your browser. Your image is never sent to Tool Packer.

Which color formats are available?

Every sampled color is shown as HEX, RGB or RGBA, and HSL or HSLA. Transparent pixels also include their alpha value.

How is the dominant palette created?

The browser analyzes a reduced preview, groups nearby colors, and returns up to eight of the most common groups. Transparent pixels are excluded.

Which image types can I use?

The color picker accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 20 MB and 40 megapixels.
