Know before you start

Important limitations

  • Mirroring also reverses any readable text inside the image.
  • A flip changes pixel positions and is different from rotating the canvas.
  • PNG preserves transparency where the operation allows it, but photographic files can be larger than JPG or WebP.

Does the downloaded file replace the original?

No. The tool creates a separate download; the source file on your device is not modified.

Will metadata remain in the result?

Canvas export normally omits camera EXIF and most ancillary metadata. Keep the original if those records matter.
